Have you heard about the People’s Emergency Briefing? 🌱

The 50-minute film brings together evidence from ten leading UK experts on what climate and nature breakdown means for our health, food systems, economy and national security and most importantly, what we can do about it.

Our director Gemma, went along to a screening last week and came away feeling that there was some good news and a couple of helpful suggestions and things we can actually do.

The film is now being screened in communities around the UK, with time for discussion and conversation afterwards.

There are upcoming screenings around Bristol too, including Bridge Farm, Vassalls Centre, Eastville Park, Frenchay Quaker Meeting House and Hillfields Community Centre.

A haircut can be about so much more than hair. ✂️🤍

For someone experiencing homelessness, a fresh haircut can offer a feeling of normality, a boost of confidence, and a reminder that they are valued and deserve to be cared for.

It can even help someone feel more confident when going to an interview, looking for work or meeting new people.

Two members of our Tamed & Wild team, Steph and Miglena, volunteer with Eddie Ilic, joining monthly sessions at Julian House Shelter and using a skill they already have to give something back to their community.

Sometimes, something that feels small to us can make a really big difference to someone else.

We’re proud to have Steph and Miglena as part of our team, and even prouder to see them using their skills to support others. 🤍

A little Shambala throwback ✨🌈

One week ago, some of our Tamed & Wild stylists joined the Shambala team, alongside stylists from MANU botanicals & Hair Studio , to host the Dragonfly Camping Pamper Parlour 💇‍♀️✨

From braids and festival styles to colour and all the creativity in between, we had the BEST time bringing a little bit of Tamed & Wild to the festival.

A huge thank you to everyone who sat in our chairs, trusted us with their hair and made the whole weekend so much fun 🫶
