Swipe to see this PCOS facial hair transformation!

PCOS-related facial hair can be stubborn because hormonal fluctuations can continue to stimulate new hair growth. Laser hair removal works by treating the active hair follicles, helping to significantly reduce hair growth over a course of treatments. Maintenance sessions may still be needed to manage any new hormonally driven hairs.

Seeing clients regain confidence and spend less time worrying about unwanted facial hair is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. 💛

If you struggle with PCOS facial hair, you’re not alone and there are effective treatment options available.

Rosacea transformation ✨

We are loving these results so far!

My client had struggled with persistent facial redness, flushing, and visible broken capillaries for years. Even with makeup, the redness would often shine through, affecting her confidence.

Using a series of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments, we’ve been targeting the background redness while also treating individual visible facial vessels. As the unwanted blood vessels absorb the light energy, they gradually fade, leaving the skin looking calmer, more even, and brighter.

IPL is one of my favourite treatments for managing the vascular component of rosacea. It can significantly reduce redness, minimise flushing, and improve the appearance of visible capillaries, helping you feel more confident in your skin.

Every treatment plan is tailored to your skin, and the best results are typically achieved with a course of treatments, followed by maintenance sessions when needed.

If you’re tired of covering redness every day and want to know if IPL is right for you, send me a message or book in for a consultation. ❤️

Progress… and we’re so pleased with these results already!

This is part way through her Illumi Facial course with IPL, and the improvement is already so noticeable. 💫

Just look at how her skin is becoming:
🤍 Brighter
🤍 More even in tone
🤍 Wrinkles reduced
🤍 Smoother in texture
🤍 Healthier and more radiant

We still have more pigmentation to treat, but this is a great example of how IPL works gradually. As the course progresses, pigmentation continues to break down while the overall quality, clarity and glow of the skin keep improving.

Great skin doesn’t happen overnight, it takes consistency. These results show why completing your full course is so important. We can’t wait to share her final transformation! ✨

One of the best signs your laser is working 👇

✨ Those red bumps? They’re actually a good sign! ✨

If you’ve ever noticed a “goosebump-like” reaction after laser hair removal, you’re looking at follicular (or perifollicular) edema.

This temporary redness and swelling around the hair follicles is one of the signs we look for during treatment. It tells us that the laser energy has successfully targeted the hair follicle and that the skin is responding as expected.

A few things to know:
✔️ It’s completely normal
✔️ It’s usually not uncomfortable (it just looks a bit dramatic!)
✔️ It typically settles within a few hours to a couple of days
✔️ Not everyone gets it – and that’s okay too!

While follicular edema can be a reassuring treatment endpoint, its absence doesn’t mean your treatment hasn’t worked. Every skin and hair type responds a little differently.

So if you leave your appointment looking a little spotty, don’t panic.

☀️ SPF reminder ☀️

This weekend is set to be a hot one, so please make sure you’re protecting your skin.

Cover up where you can, wear your SPF daily and reapply religiously to keep your skin protected, especially if you have laser treatments booked.

Sun exposure and tanning will make laser treatments unsafe and may mean we need to postpone your appointment.

If you have an upcoming treatment and have been exposed to the sun or developed a tan, please contact me to reschedule.

Your skin health and safety always come first!
