In 2005 I had a vision to create a skin care range that is 100% purely plant derived, and is both effective and affordable. After collaborating with cosmetic chemists, traditional herbalists and microbiologists, my vision finally came to life in 2007 when I launched Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care. O

ur products are derived from 100% pure plant extracts, are honestly priced and are naturally effective on all skin types. Since launching, Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care has maintained these values. We hold onto our ideals of natural, vegan and cruelty free products that feed and nourish your skin, and we have gone from strength to strength! First to the range was the Body Smooth Refreshing Polish which was initially sold on a demonstrational basis at markets, shows, exhibitions & festivals. Within months it had taken the industry by storm, and was voted ‘Best Beauty Buy’ of the year by the Sunday Mirror magazine. As more Tropic products have developed, the range has been featured in Vogue Magazine, Brand New You Magazine and in the Independent, and has been recognised by the Natural Health Beauty Awards! In 2011 I was part of the popular television show The Apprentice. Despite not winning, Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care impressed business tycoon and media personality Lord Alan Sugar, who chose to invest! He is now a 50/50 partner with myself. He and I have worked closely in perfecting the brand ever since. My time on The Apprentice gave me an incredible opportunity to learn from Lord Sugar and I have applied this knowledge and investment to take the business from my kitchen table to where we are today! Thanks to Lord Sugar’s investment, Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care has stormed forward with a second re-branding, huge range development, and we now operate from a large warehouse space to enable on-site, fresh manufacturing of all our products. Along with this, the investment and guidance has allowed us to develop and grow while maintaining our core values and beliefs. We put quality and customer service at the forefront of everything we do and go above and beyond to ensure our products are to your 100% satisfaction. Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care has grown incredibly in the past year, and in May 2013 we launched our Social Sales Team, and we recently celebrated our 777th Ambassador joining us! Our wonderful team work all over the country, introducing our range to thousands of new customers a month! We have big plans for the rest of 2013 and are looking to the future as we are constantly researching and testing to expand and improve our range, adopting the latest natural cosmetic innovations. SKCIN would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire team and the incredible Tropic Ambassador community for their continued support in 2026.

Throughout May, during Skin Cancer Awareness Month, we were delighted to welcome more than 530 new Tropic Ambassadors to our growing MASCED community - now made up of almost 14,000 Hair, Health and Beauty industry professionals trained to spot the signs and symptoms of skin cancer.

This is a partnership with real power and purpose.

Thanks to funds raised at last year’s unforgettable Glammies, we have also been able to launch our pilot secondary school programme, Expose The Glow, helping us educate and empower young people with vital skin cancer prevention and sun safety messages.
