The Village Healer - Reiki Healing

✨ If you’re not feeling “New Year, New Me”… you’re not broken. ✨

Today might say New Year’s Day on the calendar, but for most of human history the new year didn’t begin until spring 🌱

Old astrological and seasonal calendars followed nature — and nature doesn’t reset in the middle of winter. January was a time for:
• Rest
• Reflection
• Hibernation
• Gentle intention-setting

The real new beginning came at the spring equinox, when the Sun moves into Aries, the light returns, and life starts pushing up through the soil 🌞🐏

So if you’re:
• Not ready to go hard
• Not launching new routines
• Still tired
• Still dreaming rather than doing

That’s not a failure — it’s wisdom.

You’re allowed to use this time to rest, listen, and quietly set intentions, letting them take root beneath the surface. There’s no rush.

Spring will come.
And when it does, you’ll move — naturally 🌿

💛 Be gentle with yourself. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

✨ A gentle reminder for today… ✨

In the busyness of life — especially as we move toward the festive season — it’s easy to slip into autopilot, giving and doing until our energy runs low.

Take a moment today to pause.
Breathe deeply.
Soften your shoulders.
Come back to you.

Your wellbeing matters just as much as everything on your to-do list.
Even a few quiet minutes of stillness can shift your whole day.

Be kind to your mind, nourish your body, and honour your energy.
You are worthy of peace, rest and balance — not just someday, but today. 💛

With warmth,
