On 25–26 October 2026, our Francesco Caterino will compete at the CMC World Championship — and this year his competition has an even deeper meaning.

Francesco will compete in Traditional Beard Shaving. 🪒

A skill that represents the history of our profession and, for our family, generations of passion, sacrifice and dedication.

Because Francesco isn’t simply a young barber entering a World Championship.

He is the FOURTH GENERATION of barbers in the Caterino family. ❤️💈

Born and raised in Scotland, with Italian barbering running through his family history, Francesco is now carrying that tradition forward and creating his own story.

Over the next few weeks, the preparation will be intense.

Practice.
Precision.
Discipline.
Every movement. Every detail. Every shave.

The objective is to arrive in Paestum ready to compete against some of the best talent from around the world and give absolutely everything on that stage.

And there is a dream behind all that hard work:

🏆 to bring a World Championship award back home to Scotland and the Scottish Borders.

As his father and trainer, this one means something different to me.

Watching my son become the fourth generation of our family, carrying forward the profession handed down to us and choosing traditional shaving for the World Championship, makes me incredibly proud.
