✨ A little reintroduction… because I’ve had a few lovely new faces recently! ✨
Sometimes I look like the first picture… and sometimes the second…. I also need to wax my tash too!

Hi, I’m Aimi 👋🏼
I’m the person behind Dash of Lash aka the one who rocks up at your house with all my kit ready to give you a bit of much-needed you time. 🖤

When I’m not doing lashes, brows, facials or helping you switch off with a treatment, I’m a wife and Mam to Poppy, who is delightfully neurospicy 🌶️, so I’m also navigating the wonderful, chaotic world of SEND parent life.

I have a stepdaughter, a little floof called Eddie 🐶 and, alongside running Dash of Lash, I’m a Team Leader at an older people’s charity.

And when I say you get lashes AND therapy at your appointments… 😂 you actually are in pretty safe hands. I’m trained in Mental Health First Aid and have Level 3 Counselling although, to be fair, some of my advice probably comes from my own slightly wild collection of life experiences too. 😂

One thing I really want every client, especially new ones, to know:

I genuinely do not care what your house looks like.

Haven’t brushed your hair?
Still in your PJs?
Washing on the chair?
Kids running riot?
Dog doing zoomies around my beauty bed?
Haven’t had five minutes to yourself all day?
Door needs to be answered to get your parcel?

I get it. That’s real life. I live in it too.

There is zero judgement when I come into your home. You don’t need to tidy up for me, dress up for me or have everything together.

I’m just there to give you some time out, make you feel good and hopefully leave you feeling a little more like you again. 🤍

And finally, thank you to every single person who trusts me to come into their home and their space. I never take that for granted.

A personal note from… something I have been up to when I am not pampering you all📚
Most of you will know my little girl is neurodiverse
A little while ago, I took part in a creative writing project for SEND parent carers, sharing something about our own journeys. I chose to write about “Behind the Masks.” Yesterday we came together to showcase the project and it was such a powerful afternoon

We often talk about how well our children can mask, sometimes so well that it makes it incredibly difficult for others to truly understand what we’re trying to explain about life behind closed doors.

But I wanted to talk about the masks we wear as parent carers the faces we put on, the strength we show and everything that can be hidden underneath.

I’m so proud that my piece has now been included in the published book. ❤️

Hey a little personal share from me. At some point in all our lives we are affected by our mental health, or those around us are. The sad reality is statutory services don’t have the capacity to support everyone. Without charities like Mind bridging this gap, lots of people wouldn’t access support . I have accessed various support from Mind and it really helped me through some tough times, of which I am grateful for them helping put me back together after some tough times.
