Why we decided to be a Text-only salon 🫶🏼

You might have noticed we don’t answer phone calls… that’s half intentional.

Because we have no receptionist, we choose to be fully present with our clients once they arrive, not leaving them half way through lashes to answer a phone call.

Being Text only mean:
🌟 we can reply once we are free, even out of hours
🌟 you can text us late evening or early mornings if that’s when works for you
🌟 everything’s in writing (appointment times, prices, queries)
🌟 nothing gets missed
🌟 most importantly your appointment is uninterrupted!

Personal update - the garden 🌱

As lots of you have mentioned you’d like a little personal update from me now and again on what I’m up to in my life away from them salon…
Here you go… today’s is the garden.

I’ve spoken to so many of you about my love for growing fruits and veggies and not long ago I was given the chance of taking over a little bit of land and after wanting to for years I jumped at the chance!

I went into it with a vision and a dream and once again Mr G was on board to make it happen!
Now it won’t come together all at once and will be a work in progress for maybe years but here are some photos to show where we are at right now!

I love the way it’s looking already and come spring it will look even better.

For the moment I’ve planted potato’s, carrots, beetroot, onions, leeks and beans, as well as some herbs that will stand the autumn. There was already rhubarb, cherry and plum trees established and those have just been given some love.

Everything I grow will be used/ate!

As lots of you know I also love to cook and love nothing more than using homegrown items, so the dream is to grow some myself to use along side the apple, blackberries, plumbs, rhubarb, green beans, onions, eggs I’ve been kindly gifted from others gluts over the years. I love taking the extras and making something delicious. I’ll share more on what I make another time.

Ideally someone who is a qualified brow tech, facialist or tattooist for example.

Hello September…

Hey, it’s been a while since I’ve posted consistently, I’m sorry! There’s a million reasons but mainly I just haven’t priorities my socials.

I’m going to try harder so if you see any of my posts going forward please react to help with my reach/engagement 🫶🏻

The salon has been super busy over the summer and we’ve help so many ladies get holiday ready and celebrate lots of exciting occasions, thank you for keeping us busy!

Serene Sundays are back and will be offered one Sunday per month, aiming to be the first Sunday. There are still limited slots for these and I’d recommend booking in advance.
If you’ve experienced a Serene Sunday already, I’d love to hear some feedback on what you liked/ didn’t like and what I can improve on please. Please send me a message.

I’ve been looking at my diary and I’m afraid I’m still unable to take on any new eyelash clients at the moment, I’ll be reassessing this on a monthly basis and will update when it’s possible.
With this being said I’m looking to drop my last appointment on a Monday and Wednesday to finish no later than 9pm (the 9:30/10pm finishes are exhausting me) so evening clients I recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out!

Back to socials, I’m thinking of sharing a little snippet of my life outside of the salon once a week, what do you think, would you like to see what I’m doing when I’m now here in the salon?
