Seborrheic keratosis are a common noncancerous skin growth that typically appears as a waxy scaly stuck on like lesion that can range in colour from pink to more commonly dark brown. These are caused by a build up of skin cells likely through genetics or sun exposure. They are harmless but can become itchy or irritated.

Cryotherapy is a fast effective safe solution for the removal of skin imperfections including seborrheic keratosis. The procedure typically last 5 to 30 seconds depending on their size.

How it works

The Cryopen emits a fine jet of Nitrous Oxide under high pressure, which allows for working within millimetre precision. This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane thereby destroying the cell. This means there is no collateral damage to healthy tissue. It’s so incredibly accurate and practical.
