We have had a number of people ask us about this new course which involves DISSOLVING AND REFILLING LIPS ON THE SAME DAY. It was even part of a live discussion between Cosmetic Couture CEO, Maxine and industry consultant, Pete recently.

Having spoken to all the insurance companies we can advise that this treatment is NOT covered in any policies. Manufacturer guidelines indicate that 14 days must be observed between dissolving and refilling.

Finch Insurance responded: “Therefore if the advice is not to refill until 14 days after dissolving and the practitioner dissolved and filled the same day the insurance policy would be null and void.”

Policy Bee said: “We insure the procedure to reverse fillers but as advised would be under the guidance that the product advise and manufactures guidelines are being followed. If it states a minimum wait of 14days we would expect customers to abide by this.”

If you are doing it and you think it’s legal, it’s not. Should a claim arise, you will be solely responsible for that treatment.
