BGA Beauty & Wellness is looking for a friendly, professional and motivated self-employed beauty professional to join our established salon in Rutherglen. 🤍

We currently have space available for 2–3 days per week, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a regular salon base while building and growing their own clientele.

I honestly don’t know where to begin…

To be awarded Beautician of the Year at the Scottish Salon Awards for the second consecutive year is something I never imagined when I first started my business from my living room with a dream, a passion for helping people feel their best, and a determination to create something special.

As a single mum, building BGA Beauty & Wellness hasn’t always been easy. There have been long days, late nights, sacrifices, challenges, and moments of doubt. But there has also been so much joy, growth, and support along the way.

This award means so much because it reflects not only the work I do, but the trust and loyalty of every client who has walked through my door. Thank you for choosing me, recommending me, supporting my small business, and allowing me to be part of your confidence and wellness journeys. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.

To my family, friends, and everyone who has supported me from the beginning, thank you for believing in me, cheering me on, and helping me continue to grow.

Winning this award once was an incredible honour. Winning it for a second year is something I will treasure forever and never take for granted.

The Scottish Salon Awards

Wow.

I honestly didn’t expect the response The Restore Project has received over the last few days.

Thank you to everyone who has liked, shared, joined the group, sent messages, and trusted me enough to share your stories.

Reading through them has been emotional and incredibly humbling.

To make sure every application is considered fairly, I’ll be setting up an official application form this week for anyone wishing to nominate themselves or someone else.

The first Restore Project recipient will be chosen at the end of the month.

Thank you for supporting this little idea that has grown into something so much bigger than I imagined.

This is something very close to my heart ❤️

Over the past few months, I’ve been thinking about how I can use my skills and my business to give something back.

Having experienced domestic abuse both as a child and later in my own life, I understand how difficult it can be to rebuild your confidence, find yourself again, and simply feel cared for.

As the owner of BGA Beauty & Wellness, I’ve always believed that wellness is about more than treatments. Sometimes it’s about feeling safe, valued, seen, and deserving of a little time for yourself.

With that in mind, I’m launching The Restore Project.

Each month, I will be gifting a treatment to a woman who has been through a difficult time and could benefit from a little care, relaxation, and support.

This isn’t about charity. It’s about kindness, dignity, and reminding someone that they matter.
