Healthy hair starts with deep conditioning 🌿

Whether your hair is natural or relaxed, deep conditioning is essential for keeping it strong, soft, and thriving.

For natural hair, it restores moisture, improves elasticity, and helps reduce breakage—making curls more defined and manageable. For relaxed hair, which has been chemically processed, deep conditioning helps repair damage, strengthen strands, and prevent dryness and split ends.

I use a blend of powerful herbs like amla, shikakai, neem, and brahmi—known for nourishing the scalp, promoting growth, and restoring shine naturally.

Consistency is key. When you treat your hair with care, it shows ✨

I started my natural hair journey alone in 2017 after transitioning from relaxed hair in 2016. I did my big chop during my NYSC days in Nigeria, and honestly, it wasn’t an easy journey. I was learning as I went—making my own DIY hair products and figuring out what worked best for my hair. At some point, I even had my own product line 😁 (that’s a story for another day).

What started as a solo journey has now brought forth another queen 👑. Looking back now, I can’t help but smile 🥰🥰 because there are now two of us rocking natural hair in my home 💃💃💃💃.

Growing up as an only daughter, I eventually learned how to make hair using both my mum’s hair and mine. Funny enough, I didn’t learn early—it was after university while I was waiting for NYSC and spending time at home that I really started practicing on my mum’s hair. Later on, during a university program with our ladies’ NFCS forum, I met an amazing teacher, in Birmingham 💃💃💃💃, who taught me how to cornrow.

Now, doing my daughter’s hair brings me so much joy—even though she sometimes cries during the process and I’m tempted to just cut it all off 😄😄😄😄.
