Some of you will already be aware know after 25 years on Byres Road, sadly I closed the shutter for the final time on Saturday the 17th of August.

It was an extremely difficult decision with the main factor being ever increasing overheads, materials and ongoing running costs of the premises, this sadly has had the effect of making the business a loss-making activity.

I would like to thank each one of my clients over the past 25 years for their loyalty and support, it has been very much appreciated along with the gift of friendship from many of you, I have truly been touched.

I am sure for many like me, 381 Byres Road will always have a special place in my heart as well as Florence and Barbara. You have all individually contributed to have made it very the unique and welcoming salon it was, I have many happy memories of my time there along with Florence and Barbara.

I hope you will remain being part of our next exciting chapter, that is now beginning to materialise like the proverbial a phoenix rising from the ashes,

Closing the salon has now given me the opportunity to rethink the way I work and how I could best meet my client’s future needs going forward.

Myself, Florence & Barbara will still be working together a couple of days a week at Hair by Hanlon in Great Western Road, I will also be working at The G-Salon in Bearsden Cross.

The days I will be working at: -

Hair By Hanlon, 691 Great Western Road, Glasgow, G12 8RA
Wednesday and Friday of each week.

And at: -

The G-Salon, 19 Doulas Place, Bearsden, Glasgow, G61 3SH
Thursday and Saturday of each week.

I will also be available for home visits if that would suit you better, which is something I was not able to do whilst tied to the old premises.

I am working with my IT team, you will shortly have the option to book and change appointments online yourself and of course a great new looking website is coming soon, I am hoping this will be available in the next few weeks, and further details of this will be sent out in a standard text message to all of you that I have a mobile contact numbers for.
