3 things to remember when booking a bridal spray tan

1️⃣ - Book a trial! - trials are so important as this will let us see how the tan takes to your skin if we need to adapt things and also how the shade develops on your skin tone ensuring we get the perfect shade for the big day!

2️⃣ - Try to do ALL your other beauty apps at least 24hours before your bridal spray tan as crossing some treatments over can result in disaster for your tan!!

3️⃣ - Book your bridal party in for their spray tans too, this will avoid any DIY disasters that could happen. Group appointments are available!

Fitness Shoot Spray Tanning

You’ve put in the hard work ; now it’s time to show it off. Our fitness shoot spray tans are specially designed to not only give you confidence but enhance muscle definition, giving you a deep, even glow that photographs beautifully under studio lighting. (Wearing no tan on a shoot can wash you out making muscles look flat)

We use two to three coats of our ultra dark solution, expertly applied to ensure your tan brings out every bit of shape and definition you’ve built. The deeper the tan, the more it highlights muscle definition, which is exactly what you want for your shoot.

Book your tan 1–2 days before your shoot so it’s fully developed and at its richest colour.

Be sure to get all training and steps done before your tan, sweating too soon after application can affect the final result. Most people take a rest day before a shoot anyway… so make it a tan day with us!

Always bring long loose clothing to wear after your spray tan has been applied pj’s, loungewear or joggies and a long sleeved top is ideal.. no shorts or vests as this could mark the tan, sweat it off or make it patchy!

Here’s a few tips to ensure you get the best results from your bridal spray tan.

Firstly a trial run is a must, this will let us see how the tan takes to your skin tone and ensure we get the perfect shade that suits you. When booking a bridal spray tan and trial run we ask you select our bridal option for both as these appointments are carried out by senior members of staff. By selecting our bridal option it will guarantee you are booked in with one of our most experienced girls. Booking your spray tan trail to tie in with hair and make up trials is always a good idea to get the overall look you’ll have for the big day.

We recommend scheduling your bridal spray tan 2-3 days before your wedding. This allows ample time for the tan to develop fully. Spray tans take 8-10 hours to develop some cases are a full 24hours to get the true development shade. Getting the tan done a few days before also enables you to have a few showers washing off all bronzers thoroughly.

We recommend coming to your bridal trial and wedding tan appointment’s with no old fake tan on as this can result in an uneven application and results.

Exfoliating your whole body the few days before the appointments is ideal to rid the skin of any excess dry skin or anything that could affect the results from your spray tan.

Avoid wearing moisturiser, make up, deodorant or any scented body washes the day of your spray tan appointment as again this can affect how the tan takes to your skin.

Wear or bring loose long sleeved and long trousers to wear after your appointment this will ensure the tan develops lovely and even without the chance of any skin to skin contact ruining it or your hands getting tan on them from touching bare skin. Avoid removing clothing on and off to “check the tan” as this will disturb the evenness of the application your technician has achieved - trust the process. You will receive an aftercare leaflet to keep you right after your appointment.
