So honoured to have been invited to join The Sharp Standards panel at Holyrood, Scottish Parliament last week!

I’ve been invited to The Sharp Standard Microneedling Good Practice Guide panel at Holyrood, Scottish Parliament on Thursday 8th October 2026!

I’m so excited that Dermalogica and BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology) have invited me to sit on the industry panel to contribute to the Good Standards Practice regarding Microneedling standards referring to the Scottish Licensing for Non-Surgical Procedures in September 2027.

I am a great advocate of education, results and good SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) so I am super excited at the opportunity to contribute at this amazing day.

Here’s to raising the levels of professionalism within this much loved, beauty industry!

Look at the difference! 😍 The results of this partial neck fibroblast treatment are looking wonderful, with a visible improvement in the appearance and firmness of the skin over five months.

But what about the downtime and healing process? 💫

💕 What to expect after treatment:
• First few days: Small dots or scabs form in the treated area as the skin begins to heal. Some redness and swelling are normal.
• Days 3-5: The tiny scabs typically begin to fall away naturally. It’s important not to pick them.
• Following weeks: The skin continues to settle and recover as the healing process progresses.
• 3–6 months: Skin remodelling continues, and results can gradually become more noticeable over time.

🧴 Aftercare is key! Keep the area clean, follow your practitioner’s aftercare instructions, avoid picking at the scabs, and protect the healing skin from the sun.

Everyone heals differently, and downtime varies depending on the individual and the treatment intensity. Some redness or pigmentation changes can last longer, so proper aftercare and realistic expectations are important.

Five months on, this is a lovely example of how results can continue to develop with time! ✨
