A Future Talent Finalist!

Just a few pictures on the journey of F&M. From the night before we opened our first salon at 142 Main street, fresh faced from holiday and loving the colour blue lol. After outgrowning the salon within a year and moving to 120 Main street, just up the road. Spending an absolute fortune on making the salon feel luxury and inviting. 2017 moving to our current salon at 29-31 Cross Arthurlie Street, proud as punch with our new look and even bigger salon. Going on to win numerous awards within the industry for our salon design, customer service and our stylists, as well as being used in the "local" campaign in Barrhead. Our last big celebration with Kevin , celebrating 20 years. Its been a journey neither of us expected, with loads of hard work, long hours, celebrations , huge highs and massive lows. Thank you to our team and our clients for making everthing possible and for your continued support. x
Twenty-five years ago, F&M Hairdressing began with a simple dream and one Stylist. It all started in 2001, with Kevin amd myself opening the doors at 142 Main Street. Neither of us could have imagined where that journey would take us.
The support from the people of Barrhead was incredible from the very beginning. Within just a year, we had outgrown our first salon and moved to larger premises at 120 Main Street. We spent many wonderful years there, building friendships, creating beautiful hair, and becoming part of so many people's lives.
In 2017, we turned another page in our story, moving to our current home at 29–31 Cross Arthurlie Street. Every move we've made has been because of the loyalty and trust our clients have placed in us, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
As we celebrate 25 years, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every member of our team, past and present. Your hard work, creativity, passion, and unwavering support have shaped F&M Hairdressing into what it is today. Every award, every achievement, and every smile that walks out of our salon is a reflection of your talent and dedication.
Most of all, thank you to our wonderful clients. You have trusted us with your hair, shared your stories, celebrated your milestones, and supported us through every chapter of our journey. Some of you have been with us since those very first days 25 years ago, and that loyalty is something I will never take for granted.
F&M Hairdressing has always been about more than just hair. It's about people, relationships, and being part of a community we are proud to call home.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of our story. Here's to the memories we've made together, and to many more years ahead.

Born on 26.04.26, weighing a perfect 5lb 2oz, Layla has already stolen everyone's hearts. We know Martine and her family are enjoying every precious moment with their gorgeous new addition.
