I'm lying awake at 4.40am writing this because I've struggled to sleep.
I took this photo less than 2 weeks ago because I often stopped to look at this building & felt so lucky to call it my workplace. Iconic building, iconic location.
I'm devastated & shocked to lose my business. For 7 years I'd made this place my little sanctuary from home. Like everyone else in the building, I've lost everything that allows me to earn a living. I couldn't even write a list of all the things I've lost from inside because it's so overwhelming to lose everything. But it's more than that; it's losing the space I've shared so many important memories in. I'll miss what this space provided for me & my clients 💔
A building with 200 years history, just wiped out completely & as a Glaswegian, it hurts my heart to see the landscape of the city centre change so dramatically.
None of us know whats next but I need to start making plans to be able to re-build. My fiancé created a Go Fund Me & so far people have been SO generous. If you're able to help out at all, the link is in my bio. I don't love asking for help but if ever there was a time, it's now.
