RISOTTO
Risograph Print and Design Studio The studio is equipped with a variety of risograph printers, folding machines, card cutters and papers supplies.
Riso prints have similar rich spot colours and ink textures to that of screen-printing, but involves accelerated duplication speeds, at a fraction of the print cost. This makes it ideal for producing promotional material such as posters, flyers, business cards, invites and catalogs. The design service available also focuses on promotional material, offering a fast turnaround with an affordable and flexible service. Print Colours available: BRIGHT RED, GREEN, DARK BLUE, FLURO PINK, YELLOW, ORANGE, TEAL, PURPLE, BURGUNDY, FLAT GOLD and BLACK! Get in touch for further details, quotes or chats!

Our most alternative notebook is back in stock 📒
The Shuffle Notebook gets its name from the way it’s made: we manually shuffle together our risograph misprints with plain or lined paper, then bind and trim each one by hand in our Glasgow studio.
Some of you use them for notes, lists, sketches and grand plans. Others are for cutting, pasting, collaging, scrapbooking, journalling, or writing straight over the top.
No two are the same, and so every notebook is of a lucky dip of sorts. A colourful, layered canvas for all your new ideas 🐥

AUGUST, through the ages 🌞
The first version of our A3 risograph calendar was designed back in 2015, which makes 2027 our 12th iteration of this annual design ritual.
You can probably spot the early year = one colour and way fewer frills 👀
Over the years I’ve used the same format and constraints as an excuse to keep experimenting. colour combinations, gradients, duotones, graphics, lunar phases, and the language learning that have creeped in year by year 🎢
For 2027 we’ve gone alpine 🐐⛰️ with wandering goats and essential Spanish vocab thrown in for good measure.
Hopefully you like where they’re going! Although I’m all ears if you’re secretly campaigning for a return to the less-frilly years 🤲
We still have a handful of 2026 calendars left, but more importantly, 2027 is now riso printed and ready for you.
Hang it behind this year’s, ready to plot next year’s plans ✏️🌞

☀️ Throwback to this time last year, when we packed up RISOTTO and transported the studio to the Beach for 🌴
Pinterest invited us to deliver a week of rapid-fire workshops, with around 200 people making custom artworks each day. It was hot, and there was lots of sand, paper and ink 🌀
For the workshops, I designed hundreds of custom stickers, lettering and collage elements for guests to play with, alongside a suite of pre-printed RISOTTO backgrounds they could layer up and make their own.🎢
It was a tightly designed playground: fast-paced enough to keep the queues moving, but structured enough to make sure every first-time RISO enthusiast went away with something joyful, bold and satisfying 🏓
So much of the work was in designing a system that felt loose, playful and spontaneous, while being very, very organised behind the scenes. My favourite medley! 🕹
I dont need much of an excuse to design a - so I got to work on a breezy summer special - craftfully brought to life from and .garments 🤲
I got to bring along some brilliant humans, workshop pros and fellow print techs: .studio and
Huge thanks to Sean, Nadia, Ariel and the rest of the team, who are always such a joy to work with, and amazing supporters of our work 🌷
And to Caroline from - an absolute dream producer 🌈

RISOTTO HQ: my new North Pole 🎢
It’s not just a print but a playground for art, experimentation and hosting. Everything moves or stacks. Curtains open, tables roll, and projects expand and collapse depending on the day. 🎨
Whether it’s printing, making stationery, or developing and modular sculptures, it’s a space where production and play sit side by side. 🏗️
My latest furniture collaboration with runs throughout the studio. I used their modular steel units as building blocks, patterning and reworking them into something both practical and sculptural. It’s storage, but also a way of thinking about structure, colour, and composition in 3D. 🎯
The space has naturally opened itself up to hosting too; workshops, launches, dinners, and shared projects, where people can step into a world I’ve been imagining for a long time, and make something within it. 🎭
After 14 years of RISOTTO, it feels like a big milestone. Creating a space that’s generous to the next chapter, more ambitious, and able to hold bigger projects alongside our regular prints! ✨
🧱 … if you’re reading! 💚
