This year we’re collecting selection boxes. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference — one box of chocolates can bring a huge smile to a child’s face this Christmas.

Selection Box Appeal — and thanks to your incredible generosity, last year we distributed 4,938 boxes to children and families across our community.

Already, food banks and charities have reached out, asking if we’ll be able to support them again this Christmas. And we want to say: "yes, we will try."

We believe every child deserves a sweet treat on Christmas Day — a moment of joy, a little sparkle, a reminder that they’re thought of and cared for. But for many families, that simple joy is out of reach. We’ve met service users who’ve had to choose between heating or eating, and it’s happening right on our doorstep.

We know times are tough. Prices have risen across the board, and many of us are feeling the pinch. But if you’re able to donate even just one selection box, it truly makes a difference. That one box could be the reason a child smiles on Christmas morning.

❤️ To everyone who has donated in the past — thank you. You’ve helped us bring comfort, sweetness, and hope to thousands. We appreciate every single one of you. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible.

Let’s do it again. Let’s show what community means. Let’s make sure no child goes without a sweetie this Christmas.

How to donate: there will be 3 drop off points, one here in Elle Cheveux , one in Blackwood and one in Greenfaulds, alternatively you can donate by PayPal or bank transfer and we will buy the selection boxes on your behalf.
