Thinking of starting a new sport or exercise activity? If so its important to start any new activity slowly to allow your body to adapt and prevent injury. The same goes if you have had a period of rest, build up your routine slowly to prevent injury. Most injuries are caused by a simple mismatch between loading and a persons capacity to deal with that given load.
