There are so many things I wish someone had taught me when I first became a nail tech.
The fundamentals.
Understanding products. Understanding nail chemistry. Understanding why nail enhancements were lifting, breaking, chipping…
I was using products I didn’t really understand and thinking just being fully booked meant I was successful.
Looking back, I can see exactly why I felt stuck. Stuck charging low prices. Stuck with unreliable clients. Stuck with troubleshooting problems with clients nails.
I’m sharing this because I know someone watching is where I used to be.
Gaining knowledge is what changed my business.
And it’s the knowledge I want to pass on to other nail techs.

I’ve officially been in the beauty industry 10 years 🤯
Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much has changed.
From charging £16 for gel manicures and having my gran as one of my first clients, to having my own studio and building a fully booked diary consistently 🙌🏼
