๐Happy International Day of Yoga 2026 ๐๏ธ
Today, we join millions around the world in celebrating the transformative power of yoga, a priceless gift from the ancient wisdom of Bharat to all humanity.
Yoga promotes physical health, mental wellbeing, emotional balance, and spiritual growth. It reminds us that true wellness comes from harmony between body, mind, and soul.
At Patanjali Yog Peeth UK Trust, we remain committed to sharing the authentic teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda, empowering individuals and communities to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
On this International Day of Yoga, we invite every member of the Patanjali family and our wider community to touch at least one life through yoga today. Introduce someone to a simple breathing practice, encourage a friend or family member to begin their yoga journey, share a moment of mindfulness, or inspire someone to take a step towards better health and inner peace.
A single act of guidance can create a ripple effect that transforms lives and strengthens our communities.

Last Friday, Patanjali Yog Peeth UK Trust had the honour of attending the UK Parliament as a guest of Seema MalhotraMP to officially recognise International Day of Yoga. It was an incredible way to end our month-long celebration with Sadhvi Devaditi.
Our charity trustee, Sunita Poddar, utilised this platform to formally introduce PYPTโs ambitious and sincere goal: integrating yoga into the school curriculum across the UK. ๐
Why? Because every child deserves the tools to move with confidence, breathe with ease, and connect with othersโand yoga provides exactly that.
โ
Improves focus, balance and flexibility
โ
Supports emotional wellbeing and self-regulation
โ
Encourages mindfulness, connection, and resilience
โ
Builds lifelong healthy habits
PYPT is steadfast in its ambition to make this vision a reality. We believe yoga can transform classrooms into calmer, kinder, and more confident spacesโone breath at a time.
