I approached reflexology as another hocus pocus type therapy I had to cover in my studies during other courses… How wrong was I … especially after taking clients on for case histories I had clients that couldn’t have children become pregnant, insomniacs find they could get through 8-9 hours of sleep, prompted clients to go GP as they discovered some cancerous cells. To say the least it took my breath away… My understanding was too weak and I went on to study reflexology for another 2 years. We do not propose to treat or cure ailments but this I can say is it will bring you back to health and wellbeing without need of extra synthetic drugs in your body. I trained as a Clinical Reflexologist and graduated 16 years ago at SSR. Reflexology’, a prestigious school of reflexology. I am a also a member of the ‘Association of Reflexologist’s’, which exists to ensure the continued professional competency and high standard of anyone who is a member. The Clinical Reflexologist will use very specific and intricate alternating pressure techniques on the feet and hands (and sometimes ears) to identify areas of imbalance which in turn correspond with imbalances with the body. After the first full investigatory session the Clinical Reflexologist will devise a bespoke treatment plan designed to work the area’s most beneficial the individual concerned.
