I just wanted to pop on and share a quick shop update to keep everything clear and running smoothly 🤍

This year I made the decision back in January to move to a 4 day working week. I’m still working the exact same hours overall, but I’m now making more time for my life outside of work.

My new working hours are:
𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 8am - 5pm
𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 9am - 8:30pm
𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 8:45am - 5pm
𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 8am - 1pm (April - September)
8am - 3pm (October - March)

As most of you know, it’s just myself behind the scenes (owner & senior barber), replying to all messages, managing bookings on our app, running our social accounts and cleaning/restocking the barbers. Therefore, the business accounts and messages are not always monitored on a daily basis.

Please don’t worry if you don’t receive an immediate reply or appointment confirmation. If you do message or book an appointment on one of my days off, I’ll get back to you as soon as I’m back in the shop 😊

If you require a quicker response, please contact the shop on 07487 324224 during our opening hours (you can find these online or on our Booksy profile), one of our barbers will be happy to assist you where possible. If they’re busy with clients, please leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

This one feels a little different… the first anniversary without Lexi.

8 years ago I had a vision of creating a warm, inviting space with a positive atmosphere, somewhere both clients and staff look forward to spending their time. From the shop to Barrie’s Barbering Academy, it’s always been about creating opportunity, confidence and a positive environment to grow.

I’m so proud of the team: 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐋𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐧 & 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 - thank you for everything you bring to the floor and for being part of our next chapter.

We’re pleased to welcome 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 to the team, starting Saturday 7th February.

Adam will be working with us on Saturdays.

With over 2 years’ experience, Adam has worked in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, cut hair at London Fashion Week, and was awarded Best Apprentice Barber at the 2024 Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards. He was also a finalist for Best Male Stylist 2025.
