A little life update 🤍

I’m feeling a little under the weather today. I don’t think I’m unwell, just a little burnt out from spinning one too many plates.

My mum is currently an inpatient at GRH after fracturing her spine on Thursday, so alongside hospital visits, family life and the clinic, things are a little busier than usual.

This photo was taken during Legs Matter Week when I was in my first Band 6 role within the Tissue Viability Service.

Long before aesthetics, I was fascinated by skin, wound healing and the incredible role our skin plays in protecting us. As the body’s largest organ, our skin tells us so much about our overall health and wellbeing.

It’s what sparked my passion all those years ago and continues to influence my practice today.

Unfortunately, our skin is often one of the most neglected organs, despite everything it does for us.

Looking back, it’s clear my interest in skin health started long before Mes Amis Aesthetics ever existed ✨

Subtle tweaks done properly ✨

This client wanted to soften lines whilst still retaining natural movement and a gentle brow lift — exactly how anti-wrinkle treatments should look when tailored correctly 🤍

We also added a small lip flip to subtly enhance the cupid’s bow and balance the profile without adding volume 👄✨

33 degrees was enough to push me into shorts in clinic… thank goodness I went to Cyprus a few weeks ago 😭
