Families eh?? My daughter had a full head of lovely blonde foils on Sunday.

It takes most of the day as she has a lot of thick, resistant, curly hair. In between we have coffee and cut the boyfriend’s hair. Development time is quite a while as she has some natural copper undertones , more so in the front!

Yesterday she sent me this photo on our family group chat .

Her words were.. I had my hair highlighted yesterday, a beautiful blonde but a little yellow (YELLOW??) in the front so I looked in my drawer of pots of stuff (STUFF??) and found a pot of manic panic purple and thought “oh I’ll b**g (B**G) that on”
😂

Yellow, stuff and b**g are not hairdressing terms. 🙈

It looks lovely and luckily she can get away with it. BUT, she said what am I going to do?? Mummm!!?????

Hairdressers will feel my pain. Time taken packing my kit, taking a trolley, chair, gown, towel (knew she wouldn’t have an old one)
Packing it away and taking it out at home to be ready for work this week.

If this has taken a while to read, think how long it takes to now do a colour correction? And the products, and fitting us both in to an already busy working schedule . And IF it will return to the lovely blonde that we started with, in one sitting.

We know what we’re doing. We train, it costs money and time. You pay for our expertise. All it would have taken was a phone call. So when people say I colour my own hair as I don’t trust a hairdresser or they charge too much. This is the risk you’re taking.

Sorry my darling daughter (client) you are going to have to live with it 🤷‍♀️😂
