Beauty and hair businesses play a vital role in keeping our high streets alive, yet once again, the personal care sector has been overlooked.
While we fully support further business rates cuts for other struggling sectors, including pubs and live music venues, we were disappointed to see the same support was not extended to beauty, hair and personal care businesses.
Our sector continues to make a significant contribution to the UK economy, local communities and high street footfall, but too often remains undervalued in government decision-making.
BABTAC will continue to campaign for the recognition and support our industry deserves.
