We work with the fantastic team at who take 100% of salon waste.

The team work with expert businesses to reuse and recycle waste that would normally just end up in landfill.

One of the genius ways in which hair is used is to create booms for oil spillages. As you know, hair is super absorbent and so by creating booms, the hair fibres help to absorb oil spillages.

Meaning that your hair contributes to the protection of birds, animals and marine life! 🌊

Our hair waste is collected by Green Salon Collective and is then recycled one of ten ways!

One of these ways is to use it in composting. Hair is rich in nitrogen, making it an ideal fertiliser for both local and industrial composting 🌱💙
