Let's Talk About Humidity

We all love a summer wedding, and although we haven't had too much sun this summer, the humidity has definitely been present!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My top tips for humidity are:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. If you are feeling hot and overwhelmed, dampen your wrists with cold water! It is one of the quickest and most effective ways to cool your body down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Powder will be your friend. Using powder around your T-Zone can control that humidity glow and turn your skin into that of a glowing goddess.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. You can't beat a fan! If there is a fan in your venue or you have one on the day, use it as much as possible. You won't regret it.

This is one part of your wedding that you won't have to worry about. During your makeup preview I will go through with you if you have any specific requests for your bridesmaids makeup and put a plan in place then and there. If your bridesmaids then have any personal requests I will discuss this with them on your wedding morning with your overall vibe in mind, so not to clash.

Unpopular Opinion: There Can Be Too Much Glow!

When you are looking back at your wedding photos after waiting for them for a month or so, you don't want to be surprised by a sweaty looking bride towards the end of the day.

I work with my brides to create a personable makeup look that works for them and their individual skin types. We will add the glow where you want it, but also make sure to avoid a look that looks too wet or sweaty.

In your pre-preview questionnaire I find out all about your skin type, and divulge into this in your trial to ensure that on your wedding day you are looking incredible, while giving you the glow that you desire (just in the right places).
