🐾😂 PET THERAPY… WITH A TWIST! 😂🐾

Today’s pet therapy session was a little different… our furry friends weren’t quite as furry as usual! 🐶🐱🦁🐰

We brought out our fake animals for some fun, cuddles and plenty of laughs! 🥰🐾

No feeding required, no walks needed, and definitely no accidents to clean up! 😂🙈

Sometimes it’s the simplest things that bring the biggest smiles — and our animal friends certainly did that today! ❤️🐾

❤️ A LITTLE REMINDER FOR FAMILIES…

You don't have to wait until things become a crisis before asking for help.

💙 Remembering Ellie 💙

Today marks five years since we lost our beautiful Ellie.

Five years have passed, but it still feels like yesterday. 💔

Ellie was such a special part of our Bridgewater family. She was taken from us far too young, and her loss was felt so deeply by everyone who knew and loved her.

Although time moves on, memories never fade. We still remember her smile, her kindness, her laughter and the lovely person she was. She brought something very special to those around her, and she will always hold a place in our hearts.

Today, we remember Ellie with love — remembering the happiness she brought to others and the beautiful memories she left behind. 💙

Five years on, you are still loved, still remembered and still very much missed.

Forever part of our Bridgewater family. 🕊️💙

💕 A little bit of doll therapy magic 💕

There’s something rather special about the comfort and joy that a doll can bring. 🥰

Doll therapy can be a lovely activity for people living with dementia. For some, caring for a doll can bring back familiar memories of nurturing, parenting and family life. For others, it can provide comfort, reassurance, purpose and something very special to focus their attention on. ❤️

And sometimes… it’s simply lovely to have a little baby to cuddle! 👶💕

We never force or expect anyone to take part — it’s all about offering different activities and seeing what brings each individual person happiness and a sense of wellbeing.

❤️ “I’M NOT SURE MUM NEEDS DAY CARE…”

We hear this one quite often.

And sometimes, Mum really doesn’t need day care in the traditional sense.
