Back in March, ASN Play Pals began with three parents who believed ASN children and their families deserved more opportunities to play, belong and simply be themselves.

Today, we've reached 500 followers, and we honestly couldn't be more grateful.

Every bit of support helps us grow.

We're still only at the beginning. We have big dreams for ASN families, and we're so excited for everything that's still to come.

Autism parenting has a way of changing what you value in people. I don’t need someone who thinks they can “fix” my child or explain a journey they’ve never lived. I look for the people who make this road feel a little less lonely. The ones who don’t flinch when plans change. Who understand that we may need to leave early or cancel altogether. Who celebrate milestones that the rest of the world might overlook because they know how hard they were earned. The people who ask, “How can I help?” instead of telling me what they think I should do. The ones who sit beside us on the hard days without trying to rush us through them. Who see my child for who they are, not for the diagnosis they carry. Autism has taught me that a village isn’t built by people who have all the answers. It’s built by people who show up. Who choose compassion over judgment. Who make room for our family’s reality instead of expecting us to fit into theirs. Those are the people who become home. And if you’re one of those people in an autism family’s life, thank you. You may never fully realize how much your kindness, patience, and acceptance mean, but I promise they’re making this journey lighter in ways you’ll never see. 🤍
