Being qualified doesn’t mean the learning stops there 👏🏼 Trends change, techniques evolve and there’s always something new to bring back to the salon.
We LOVE a Neal & Wolf training day 🤎 Yesterday was all about reverse balayage and this was the perfect model for it.
The goal?
To help our client grow out her colour with a much softer, more natural looking blend, rather than that harsh grow out line.
Sometimes we’d add some blonde back through to help blend everything together, but the condition of the hair always comes first.
Her hair was already compromised, so adding more blonde wasn’t the right option and it wasn’t something she wanted either.
Instead, we worked with the hair, not against it, creating a more natural transition that will continue to look softer as it grows. 🤎✨
Because good hairdressing isn’t just about what you can do… it’s knowing what you should do too. 👏🏼

You may have noticed our socials have been a little quieter than usual lately… 👀
That’s because i handed over the phone while i popped off to do a tiny little thing… have TWO babies! 🤣👶🏼👶🏼
Fast forward 5 weeks and meet the two beautiful new additions Bobby-Joe & Billy-Dean 💙💙
Everything went really well and both boys are happy, healthy and already keeping their mam very busy! 🥹
But… Ive officially got the phone back 📱🤣 so consider this your warning , Shades is about to be ALL over your news feed again! 😮💨😂
