This clients micro needling progress.
She was concerned with the scar on her forehead mostly and overall skin texture/tone.
We are three sessions into a micro needling plan alongside microdermabrasion which we have been alternating between.
So far the difference is amazing , depth of the scar has definitely improved.
The top picture is directly after her first micro needling session and the bottom picture was today before her session tonight.

✨ My Microneedling Journey: 4 Sessions In & Why I’m Loving It

Before vs. after my 4th microneedling session ❤️

I wanted to share a little bit about my microneedling journey because, honestly, I’m really pleased with how my skin is looking and I thought it might be helpful for anyone else considering trying it.

The photo on the left is before I started microneedling, and the photo on the right was taken today, after my 4th session last night.

Four sessions in, I’m really starting to notice a difference in the overall appearance and texture of my skin.

So, what exactly is microneedling?

Microneedling is a treatment that uses very fine needles to create tiny controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates the skin’s natural healing process and encourages the production of collagen and elastin — two important proteins that help keep skin looking firm, smooth and healthy.

It’s sometimes referred to as collagen induction therapy.

💕 What can microneedling help with?

One of the reasons I decided to try it was because microneedling can be used to improve the appearance of a number of common skin concerns, including:

✨ Fine lines and wrinkles
✨ Uneven skin texture
✨ Enlarged-looking pores
✨ Acne scarring
✨ Certain scars
✨ Uneven skin tone
✨ Loss of firmness
✨ Overall skin rejuvenation

The idea isn’t to instantly change your skin overnight. Instead, the treatment encourages your skin to produce more collagen, so improvements can develop gradually as the skin heals and remodels.

🌿 What I’ve noticed so far

After four sessions, what I’m personally noticing is that my skin appears smoother, fresher and more even, and I feel like my overall skin texture has improved.

I also love that microneedling works with your own skin’s natural healing process rather than simply covering things up.

And that’s something I’ve really come to appreciate — good skin is a process, not an overnight transformation.

⏳ Why consistency matters

One thing I’ve learned during this process is that microneedling isn’t necessarily a “one treatment and you’re done” kind of treatment.

Depending on what you’re treating and your individual skin, a series of treatments may be recommended. Some people need multiple sessions, with results continuing to develop over the following weeks and months as collagen production takes place.

So I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how my skin continues to develop from here.

❤️ And yes… my skin is red after treatment!

The second photo was taken the day after my fourth session, so you can see some redness.

That can be completely normal following microneedling. Skin can temporarily look red or feel a little like sunburn, and these effects generally settle over the following days.

This is also why aftercare is so important. Gentle skincare and protecting the skin from the sun are particularly important while the skin is healing. It’s recommended broad-spectrum SPF 30+ and following the individual aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.

Would I recommend it?

For me, yes — so far, absolutely. ❤️

I’m only four sessions into my journey, so I’m excited to see what further improvements I notice over the coming weeks and months.

If you’re thinking about micro needling, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Micro needling is a procedure that needs to be carried out appropriately; incorrect technique or excessive treatment can increase the risk of irritation, infection, scarring or pigmentation changes.

This isn’t about trying to look like a completely different person.

For me, it’s about looking after my skin, improving its texture and helping it look as healthy and fresh as possible. ✨

And I’m really excited to continue the journey.

Hello beauties 💛

Quick update on me!
My cast + stitches come off *Thursday* and I’ll be starting hand therapy right away.

I’m hoping to be back offering some treatments from *Monday 13th* ✨
These will include:
- *Waxing*
- *Lash Lifts & Tinting*
- *Facials* — (Microdermabrasion & Microneedling only)

Just a note: I won’t be able to offer the massage part of facials for a little while longer while I build my strength back up.

Fingers crossed that by *end of July* I’ll be back to offering _all_ treatments as normal 🥰

Beautiful lashes done yesterday.

Finally finished for the day I have officially melted 🤣.

I’m now off for two weeks from tomorrow to recover from my hand surgery.
I shall update everyone once I’m able to start working again. I will most likely have to do a phased return to certain treatments so please bear with me throughout July.
