As my first week back at the salon comes to an end, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on just how lucky I am.

I won’t lie, I was scared about coming back. After everything that’s happened over the past few months, I didn’t know how I’d feel or whether I was ready. But every single one of you has made me feel like I’d never been away.

This week has been filled with smiles, laughter, tears, hugs and, yes, lots of tissues. Thank you for every card, every thoughtful gift, every beautiful bunch of flowers, and every kind word. Your love and support have touched my heart more than you’ll ever know.

Although I’m back doing what I love, my journey isn’t over yet. I still have treatment ahead of me, but being back in the salon has reminded me of how much this place and all of you mean to me. You’ve given me a little piece of normality again, and that is a gift I’ll never take for granted.

To everyone who has supported me, checked in on me, waited patiently for my return, and welcomed me back with so much kindness… thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me find my smile again and reminding me that even during the hardest chapters, we never have to face them alone.

I truly have the most amazing clients, and I couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️

LITTLE LIFE UPDATE ❤️

I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to share certain parts of my cancer treatment journey.

Some things felt too personal. Some moments felt too raw. And if I’m honest, it’s taken me a while to feel confident enough to show just how much this experience affected me.

But I also know that the reality of cancer isn’t just the appointments, the scans, and the treatments it’s the emotional side too. It’s the changes you see when you look in the mirror. It’s the moments where you don’t quite recognise yourself.

So here is a post about my hair loss.

Losing my hair, brows, and lashes was something knew could happen with chemo, but knowing it and experiencing it are two very different things. It affected me more than I expected.

As a brow artist, I’ve always noticed brows the shape, the detail, the confidence they can give someone. So losing mine felt like losing a part of my identity for a while.

I know hair grows back, and I’m grateful for that. In the meantime, I’ve used my own skills with brow pencils to help recreate a little bit of what I lost and help myself feel like me again.

One thing I do know is how much I can’t wait to get back to creating brows for people again helping others feel confident, seeing their smiles, and doing the thing I love.

Cancer has changed me in ways I’m still processing, but sharing these moments is part of taking my power back.
