🚨 Sports Therapy Clinic – Self-Employed Therapist Opportunity 🚨
I’m looking for the right therapist to join my clinic and complement the services I already provide.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone who offers treatments such as:
• Acupuncture / Dry Needling
• Cupping Therapy
• Pregnancy Massage
• Manual Lymphatic Drainage
• Or another specialist service that adds something different to the clinic.
This is a self-employed opportunity within an established sports therapy clinic, so it would suit someone looking to grow their own client base while working alongside another healthcare professional in a friendly, professional environment.
I’m looking for someone who is:
✅ Fully qualified and insured
✅ Professional and client-focused
✅ Passionate about delivering high-quality care
✅ Interested in working collaboratively while running their own business
If this sounds like you, or you know someone who may be interested, please send me a message and we can arrange a chat to discuss the opportunity and see if we’re a good fit.
Please feel free to share!

💬 I always appreciate receiving feedback like this.
If you recognise any of the symptoms mentioned in this review, don’t just put up with them. The sooner we find the cause, the sooner we can start getting you moving comfortably again.
Please message me today if you’d like to chat about your symptoms or book an appointment — I’d be glad to help.
💻 Desk job? Working from home? Constantly sitting?
If you’re finishing work with:
• Tight neck and shoulders
• Pain between your shoulder blades
• Lower back stiffness
• Hip pain
• Sciatic-type pain
…it often isn’t because you’ve injured yourself.
Long periods of sitting and repetitive movements can overload certain muscles while others become weaker, causing your body to compensate. Over time, this can lead to pain, stiffness and reduced movement.
At your appointment I’ll:
✔️ Assess what’s actually causing your pain.
✔️ Reduce muscle tension with hands-on treatment.
✔️ Improve your movement.
✔️ Give you simple exercises and advice to help stop it coming back.
You don’t have to put up with feeling sore after every working day.
📩 Message me to book your appointment or ask any questions.

“I can run 5k, but every time I try to get to 10k something starts hurting.”
I’ve heard this sentence a lot recently.
Over the last few months I’ve helped runners dealing with calf issues, shin pain, hip discomfort and recurring knee problems progress from short-distance running back to consistent training.
Several have gone from struggling to complete 5km comfortably to building towards 10km, 15km and even triathlon preparation.
More often than not, the issue isn’t that the body is “broken”—it’s that training load has outpaced capacity somewhere in the system.
Once we identify where that gap exists and build it back up, running becomes much more enjoyable.
If you’re preparing for a race, trying to break through a distance plateau, or dealing with a recurring running injury, feel free to get in touch.

🏃♂️ Running further but constantly picking up niggles?
One of the most common things I’ve seen this year is runners successfully completing Couch to 5K, then struggling when they try to progress beyond that point.
The jump from 5km to 10km and beyond often brings issues such as:
• Calf tightness and strains
• Shin pain
• Knee pain
• Hip discomfort
• Lower back stiffness
• Persistent aches that appear after a few kilometres
Over the last few months I’ve worked with a number of runners who initially struggled to increase their mileage without symptoms returning.
Through a combination of load management, strength work, mobility where needed, and identifying the underlying cause of their symptoms, many have progressed from:
✅ Completing Couch to 5K
✅ Building from 5km to 10km comfortably
✅ Returning from injury setbacks
✅ Reaching 10–15km training runs with improved confidence and consistency
The goal isn’t just to get you out of pain for a week—it’s to help you understand why the problem developed and build the capacity to keep running.
If you’re currently stuck at a certain distance, training for an event, or finding the same injury keeps returning, feel free to drop me a message. I’m happy to offer some advice and point you in the right direction.
💡 Your body often reflects what you do all day.
Over time, our work, hobbies and daily habits place repeated demands on specific tissues and joints.
Some common patterns I see in clinic:
💇 Hairdressers
• Neck and shoulder tension
• Mid-back stiffness
• Forearm fatigue
🚚 Drivers
• Hip stiffness
• Lower back discomfort
• Reduced thoracic mobility
💻 Office Workers
• Neck pain
• Upper trapezius tension
• Hip flexor tightness
• Reduced shoulder mobility
🔨 Tradespeople
• Lower back irritation
• Shoulder overload
• Elbow and forearm issues
🏃 Runners
• Calf tightness
• Achilles irritation
• Hip stability deficits
⚽ Footballers
• Groin strains
• Hamstring injuries
• Ankle mobility restrictions
What can I do to help?
A full consultation allows us to identify not only where your symptoms are occurring, but why they may be developing in the first place.
Sports therapy isn’t just about relieving tension or reducing pain in the short term. Through assessment, hands-on treatment, movement analysis and targeted rehabilitation, we aim to improve how your body moves, increase resilience to daily demands and reduce the likelihood of symptoms returning.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a persistent ache, or simply want to move and perform better, understanding the root cause is what creates lasting change.
If you’ve been putting up with an injury or recurring pain, feel free to get in touch to discuss how sports therapy may be able to help.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking to move into my own space and was wondering if anyone knows of any shops or small units available to rent around the Hyndburn area from August onwards.
I’m ideally looking for something up to £500 per month and would be using the space for a professional sports therapy setup.
If you know of anything available, or have any recommendations or contacts, I’d really appreciate you reaching out or tagging them below.
Thanks in advance!
Feeling tight, stiff, or constantly picking up small injuries lately?
This time of year I see it all the time — people getting back into running, football, or the gym… but the body isn’t quite keeping up yet.
That’s when things start to creep in:
• Tight calves or hamstrings
• Lower back stiffness
• Shoulder or neck tension from work
• Little niggles that just won’t go away
I help active people stay moving without these setbacks.
Sessions are focused on:
✔ Reducing pain and tension
✔ Improving movement and flexibility
✔ Keeping you doing the activities you enjoy
If something’s been bothering you for a while, don’t just push through it — it usually catches up.
Drop me a message or book in — let’s get you moving properly again.
I have a cancellation slot available tomorrow at 2:30. £35 for the hour due to late notice.
