✨ Healing & downtime
• Mild swelling, redness & tenderness are normal for the first 24–48 hours.
• Lips may look darker/brighter initially — this is normal! 🎨
• Light peeling/flaking can happen around days 3–7 — let it happen naturally.
• Surface healing is usually around 7–10 days, with the final colour settling over 4–6 weeks.

💧 DO
• Keep lips clean & moisturised with your recommended aftercare balm.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Sleep slightly elevated on the first night if swollen.

🚫 AVOID
• Picking or peeling ❌
• Exercise, swimming, saunas & excessive heat for 24–48 hours.
• Sun exposure, tanning & unnecessary lip products while healing. ☀️
• Spicy/acidic foods if they cause irritation. 🌶️

I’ve been living in tinted moisturiser + my tattooed makeup because it’s just FAR too hot for a full face glam! 😭

If you’ve got freshly tattooed makeup, remember to give it a little extra TLC in the sun:

• ☀️ Avoid direct sunlight while it’s healing
• 🧢 Wear a hat for extra shade
• 🧴 Avoid SPF directly on freshly tattooed skin — wait until fully healed
• 💦 Keep the area clean and avoid excessive sweating
• 🚫 Avoid swimming, saunas & steam while healing
• 🤍 Don’t pick or peel — let it heal naturally
