Because somewhere along the way we started treating being constantly busy as a sign of success.🫠
“Fully booked” became the goal.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m incredibly grateful that people choose to spend their money with me.🫶🏼
But do I want to be fully booked 5 days a week, working back to back for 8+ hours a day just so I can say my diary is full?
No. I fu***ng don’t 😂
I don’t want to finish work exhausted every day.
I don’t want to get home late.
I don’t want to spend my evenings replying to messages because I’ve had no time during the day.
And I definitely didn’t build my own business to give myself a job that takes over my entire life.
Because that s**t leads to burn out 🔥
Give me 1–2 clients a day.
Let me earn good money from those clients, finish at 2:30pm and go home.
Let me have days where I train students, create something new, work ON my business instead of constantly working IN it.
And let me have days where I do what the f**k I want 😂
THAT feels successful to me.
I want time with my family.
I want holidays.
I want random days off.
I want to be able to go for lunch on a Tuesday because I can
I want a business that gives me freedom, not one that needs every hour of my life to survive.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a completely full diary if that’s your goal, amazing 👏🏼
It’s just not mine.
I work to live. I don’t live to work.
And the older I get, the more I realise that having control over my own time might actually be the biggest flex of all. 🖤
I’m not here to scare you away from brown pigments. I’m here to help you understand them. 🤎
I can’t stop artists from using browns but what I CAN do is educate you on how to use them safely, effectively and with intention.

What an incredible weekend! Honestly, I don’t even know where to start 🥹
Firstly, a MASSIVE congratulations to my student Olivia | PMU Lip Blush, Berkshire for coming 2nd place in the Lip Blush 0–3 Years LIVE COMPETITION!! 👏🏼🏆
I honestly could not be prouder of you. Watching my students grow, push themselves and then get recognised for their work is genuinely one of the best parts of what I do. Your hard work is paying off and it SHOWS 🥹🫶🏼
Secondly, the biggest thank you to my incredible PA BELLE | Intimate Waxing Specialist | Essex 🤎 for quite literally being my right arm 😂🫶🏼 I genuinely couldn’t have done this weekend without you keeping me organised, sane and where I needed to be at the right time 🤣
And finally… getting to be a demo artist and share my Ombré Lip technique with you all was such a pinch-me moment. I loved meeting so many of you, talking all things lips and hopefully taking another little step towards changing the narrative around Ombré Lips 🤭💋
Such an amazing event, surrounded by so many talented people in our industry. I’ve come away feeling very grateful, very proud and VERY tired 😂🖤

She wanted DARK brown lips… and I said no 🤭🤎
Not because brown is the enemy🚨👀but because I knew I could give her the same vibe she wanted without just whacking a dark brown straight into her lips.
I used her everyday lip liner as my inspo, tweaked the colour and created something that I felt would suit her AND heal beautifully.
Because sometimes it’s not about copying the exact colour your client walks in with… it’s understanding what they actually love about it and creating your version of that 🤌🏼
And I mean… LOOK AT HER 😮💨🤎
