Seborrheic keratosis can affect people in different ways.
It’s a noncancerous, waxy, or scaly raised growth that can itch, catch on clothing, bleed, or cause cosmetic concern, though they are entirely harmless and not contagious.

Physical Effects- skin Irritation:
It can become itchy, inflamed, or sore if rubbed by clothing, jewellery, or skin folds.
Bleeding: - May bleed or crust over after minor accidental trauma or scratching

Cosmetic Distress: - May cause self-consciousness or embarrassment, especially when large numbers develop on visible areas like the face, neck, or scalp.

This Seborrheic Keratosis was removed using Plasma Pen.
Clients often ask me on consultation if they will be left with a scar.
The answer to this honestly, is there is always a risk.
In the after picture that was taken 3 weeks post removal you can see a good example of how the heeling looks. If you zoom in you can still see a slight pinkish tone to the removal site, this will continue to settle as the healing process continues which will take around 6-12 weeks. It may never be completely undetectable but the majority of clients would rather that, than the Lesion still being there.
