LETS TALK ABOUT THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM 🐘

Hairdressers spend years building genuine relationships with their clients. We chat about life, celebrate milestones, and often see people more regularly than many of their friends or family. Because of that connection, talking about things like cancellation policies can sometimes feel awkward. It can feel less like a business conversation and more like we’re letting down someone we care about.

But behind every appointment there’s more than just the time you sit in the chair. There’s preparation, planning, ordering products, setting aside dedicated time in the diary, and turning away other clients who wanted that slot. When an appointment is missed or cancelled last minute, that time usually can’t be filled, which means it becomes lost income for that day.

Cancellation policies aren’t about being strict or unfriendly, they’re about protecting the time, energy, and livelihood of the people behind the chair. Respecting appointment times helps hairdressers continue doing what they love while also giving every client the time and attention they deserve.
Thank you for respecting me
