Meila is going to be taking part in a super hero walk raising money for childrens heart surgery fund a charity very close to our hearts, what they do for the children and the family’s is really something that we will forever be grateful for.

Meila’s fundraiser for Children's Heart Surgery Fund Help Stephanie Clark raise money to support Children's Heart Surgery Fund

So after a whirlwind of a few weeks Meila had her surgery date brought forward and it went ahead last week ❤️

She’s home now recovering and she’s doing amazing my little warrior!!

I’ve contacted everyone again and rescheduled my diary 🤯

My beautiful girl 🤍

At around 6 months old Meila was diagnosed with a VSD a hole between the chambers of her heart. While she looks very healthy, happy baby in this picture, the true story is she's a baby with heart failure who's been in and out of hospital, some really scary admissions in fact, had nurses visiting us every week at home, been under lots of teams and professionals keeping a close eye on her.

6 weeks ago at one of Meilas heart echos they've decided it's time to close the hole and fix other issues the hole has caused with open heart surgery.
We've now met with the surgeon and the balls truely rolling meaning any day now we could get that call to take her in 💔

This surgery is going to be life changing for Meila and us as a family

While our future is uncertain at the moment I'm still carrying on with hair appointments I have booked in, I'm still taking bookings for appointments but just wanted to be honest and open that these could be cancelled at last minuite, I will contact people individually if your appointment can no longer go ahead, I'm also unsure what time I'm going to be needing off. I will keep everyone in the loop as soon as I know anything.
