Herbal Oils are made using plant matter this process is called infusion. This helps to extract the beneficial elements from the plant.🌻 Infused oils contain flavonoids and glucosides, which are soluble in fat just like essential oils but they are too heavy to be distilled. Flavonoids give the plant its colour. They are very powerful antioxidants and metal chelators. Glucosides are healers and pain killers. Many herbal oils have powerful antioxidants and chemical compounds that stimulate new skin collagen.🌼

In today's world, we don't have time to be ill. Here are some essential oils that can strengthen your immune system.

Eucalyptus - It is perfect for killing horrible odours and bacteria. Eucalyptus is excellent when mixed with a bit of water and used as a spray; it's fantastic at cleansing the air. Eucalyptus is highly effective for treating respiratory problems, such as asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, and even tuberculosis. Using eucalyptus for asthma is a proven treatment that dilates the blood vessels and allows more oxygen into the lungs.

Peppermint Arvensis - Simply brilliant. It boasts a high concentration of vitamins C and A, which can help treat a variety of disorders. Peppermint oil improves the functioning of the immune system. It's antioxidants, like vitamin C, prevent the generation of free radicals. The oil also is known to help relieve symptoms such as a sore throat, stomach illnesses, and severe bronchitis. Peppermint can improve the functionality of the lungs with its high amount of Vitamin C!

Oregano - This oil has been instrumental for more than 2,500 years, a true legend in the oil community. The properties of this oil are antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, anti-parasite and antioxidant – making it effective against many environmental threats and harmful microbes. It's great for supporting the immune system and can ease the discomforts from a sore throat.

How Essential Oils Can Help depression.

The chemicals in essential oils can interact with the body by being absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. Or stimulating areas of the brain through inhalation. When specialised nerve cells in the upper part of the nose detect smells, they send an impulse to the brain along the olfactory nerve to an area called the olfactory bulb.

The olfactory bulb processes the impulse and delivers the information about the smell to other neighbouring areas of the brain. These other areas are known as the limbic system. The limbic system is a set of brain structures play an essential role in controlling behaviour, emotions, memory and mood.

Massaging with essential oils can help improve circulation, relieve pain, reduce swelling, speed healing after injuries, restore function to the body, and release tension. Inhaling essential oil scents can calm the mind and emotions, thus encouraging relaxation and stress release. A massage on its own is very relaxing, but when adding the powers of aromatherapy, essential oils have a complementary effect. 🌼🌷🌸

Every one wants pregnancies to go well, so it’s best to be cautious about what we’re putting on our skin, Some skincare products, body lotions and makeup contain ingredients that are proven to pose a threat to a developing fetus, and some have to be avoided after you have a baby since they can pass into breastmilk. So here is a list of what to AVOID, and what is Safe. But of course, always ask you Doctor if you are not sure.

Benzoyl Peroxide——— NOT SAFE
This powerful pimple fighter is too tough for a developing baby. Studies show it poses a risk to the fetus and should not be used during pregnancy.

Retinoids———NOT SAFE
Vitamin A derivatives (which can be listed under many names, including retinoic acid, tretinoin, palmitate and retinaldehyde) are commonly found in acne treatments and anti-aging serums. Products containing retinols have been linked to severe birth defects and should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Salicylic acid————Safe in doses of 2% or less
Used sparingly as a targeted spot treatment, this acne fighter is deemed safe by most experts, including our dermatologist. But, salicylic acid (which is a type of BHA) should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding in concentrations more than 2 percent (sometimes found in wart-removal products or salon facials) because there could be a risk for baby.

Essential Oils———-Consult with your doctor.
Many moms-to-be swear by aromatherapy and massage to soothe symptoms from morning sickness to backaches. Talk to your doctor or midwife about which oils are best bets for topical products. In general, tangerine, chamomile and peppermint are considered safe, but others like clary sage, juniper and thyme should be avoided.

This is called acne mechanics and is the result of the mechanical friction of fabric against the skin. From the rubbing of the mask, the humid environment, can create a great atmosphere for bacteria which can lead to more acne.

1. Wash your masks often Masks should be washed and completely dried after every use. If you exercise or sweat during the day with a mask on, make sure you change the mask and put a clean one on.
2. Use gentle skincare products: Cleanse your skin twice a day, morning and night. using fragrance-free products is best for sensitive skin types. if you're prone to breakouts, don't use heavy ingredients and also suggested skipping oil-based foundation.
3. Avoid makeup and unnecessary products: When you are consistently wearing a mask, it's best to avoid trying new products that could potentially irritate your skin further. The masks can also dry out your skin further, so make sure to be picking a moisturizer that is going to keep your skin hydrated without clogging your pores further. Natural skin care is the best.
4. Finding the right mask. The mask should fit tight, but still be comfortable and be made of softer fabric as to not irritate the skin.
