Oh my goodness! After watching this video, my heart honestly just sank😔

It is absolutely disgusting to see that some pastors have gone out of their way to start threatening Verydarkblackman simply because of what he said that Nigeria cannot just be about revival while other countries, like China, are busy making some of the best innovations in the world and developing their nation.

And then you condemn Verydarkblackman for saying it?

Now pastors are coming out to threaten him because he dared to speak his mind. This is absolutely disgusting, barbaric and completely unacceptable.

So which God are you people serving? Are you serving the true God, or are you serving your own ego and emotions?

If what Verydarkblackman said is wrong, then come out and challenge him with facts. Challenge him with Scripture. Explain why you disagree. But threatening him? Cursing him? Trying to intimidate him?

That is not the character of God.
Nigeria needs prayer, yes. But Nigeria also needs WORK.

2 Thessalonians 3:10, If any would not work, neither should he eat.

Prayer is important, but prayer without action does not build roads, create jobs, develop technology, improve hospitals, educate children or put food on people's tables.

Look at countries that are investing heavily in innovation, technology, education, manufacturing and infrastructure. They are building. They are creating. They are developing.

So why can't Nigerians pray AND work? Why can't we believe in God AND build our country?

Why must every conversation about development somehow become an attack on Christianity?

Verydarkblackman is talking about young people, accountability, development, education, opportunities and people actually doing something for society. You may disagree with his methods or his words, but disagreement does not give anyone the right to threaten him.

And pastors, of all people, should understand this.

If you believe you are preaching the Word of God, then stand on the Word. Don't stand on threats.

Let the Word speak for itself. Let people test what is being said. Let people ask questions. Let people disagree.

You cannot threaten somebody into believing you.

And please, stop using God as a weapon against anybody who challenges you.

If what you are saying is truly from God, then you don't need threats to defend it. God is perfectly capable of defending Himself.

As the Bible says, Vengeance is mine I will repay, saith the Lord.

So leave revenge to God.

Nigeria needs pastors who will encourage people to pray, yes but also to work, create, innovate, educate, build businesses, develop communities and make a difference.

Faith and work are not enemies.
We can pray for Nigeria while also building Nigeria.

We can preach the gospel while encouraging young people to create businesses and develop technology.

We can believe in God while demanding accountability from those in power.
That is not an attack on God.

And if a pastor is genuinely confident in what he is preaching, why be afraid of questions?
Test everything. Examine everything. Search the Scriptures.

Because threatening VeryDarkMan does not prove that he is wrong.

It only raises even more questions about why some people are so afraid of being challenged.

Let people speak.
Let people question.
Let people work.
Let people build.

And most importantly, let God be God.

First of all, good question Verydarkblackman and this one is actually very easy to answer.

Pastor Arome said a young girl in the congregation called him proud. My first question is simple: How did he know exactly what the girl said? Was he sitting beside her, or was somebody reporting it to him?

Then, according to his own story, the girl supposedly became mute immediately. And everybody started begging for her, yet he allegedly wanted her to remain that way for several more days.

Please, make it make sense. Unless there is something about this story that has not been explained, there are serious contradictions here.

And then comes the biggest question: if Pastor Arome says God told him that his face would remain as it is for God's glory and as a testimony, why should a child's comment about his appearance result in such a dramatic punishment?

Are we now saying that because someone says, (You are proud) God immediately makes that person mute?

This is exactly why people must test what they hear. Don't just accept every dramatic story because it comes from a pulpit. Scripture says
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.

People are not stupid. Ask questions. Examine the story. Look at the contradictions.

Pastor Arome, stop putting every unexplained incident on Almighty God. If God said it, let God's word stand for itself. But don't use God's name to silence people from asking legitimate questions.
