CNC is designed and certified as a custom medical prosthesis
Unlike wigs, hairpieces, or non medical hair systems, the CNC system is considered a medical grade scalp prosthesis.
That means:
•It is custom made based on a 3D scan
of the client’s scalp.
• It is integrated with medical-grade
materials that are biocompatible and safe for continuous contact with the skin (especially for those with medical hair loss conditions like alopecia, trichotillomania, or post chemo hair loss).
• It’s bonded semi permanently to the scalp, similar in approach to prosthetics used for other parts of the body.
🧠Why no other hair system qualifies ….
Most hair replacement options (even “medical wigs”) are cosmetic in nature:
They’re mass produced and not custom moulded to the wearer’s scalp anatomy.
• They use cosmetic adhesives or clips,
not medical grade materials.
• They lack ISO 13485 certification and
clinical validation.
Because of this, they don’t meet the legal or scientific thresholds for “medical device” classification - even if marketed for hair loss.
