Can I be real for a second? I was so scared to become a makeup artist.

I was scared of the industry, the competition, the pressure and constantly comparing myself to other artists.

I remember looking at other makeup artists and thinking, how could I ever get to that level? I was scared people wouldn’t think I was good enough, and scared of failing.

But I realised I didn’t need to be confident before starting. I just needed to start.

I was scared, but I did it anyway and I’m so glad I didn’t let that fear stop me because I’ve met so many amazing people along the way 🤍
