For the last 7 years, one of my children have been with me throughout the week.

Seven years of juggling pre school pick ups, school runs, nursery runs, lunchboxes, childcare, holidays, sick days, bedtime routines… and trying to build a business around all of it.

And although I’ve always been working behind the scenes (because business doesn’t exactly switch off at 5pm 🙃), I’ve never actually had the opportunity to give my business my full-time hours.

Until now.

All three of my babies are now in full-time childcare… which means, for the first time EVER, I have five full days a week to give to my business. 😭✨

I’m SO excited, if we can come this far with me only being present a couple of days a week.. I cannot wait to see what things look like this time next year with me putting in full time hours ✨

Excited to be in the salon more.
Excited to grow.
Excited to have more time for my clients.
Excited to work ON the business, not just squeeze it into the gaps.
Excited to see what I can actually create when I finally have the time to give it everything.

But I’d be lying if I said I’m not absolutely heartbroken too.

Because after 7 years of them being such a huge part of my everyday life, being apart from my “gang” is going to be hard. 🥹

So today feels like a bit of a milestone.

Their first day back…
and my first day of a completely new chapter too.

Here’s to finding out what this business can really become when Mummy finally gets some full-time hours. 🤍✨

Well… somehow I’ve made it to the finalists for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Hair & Beauty Awards 🥹🤍

I’m a little bit lost for words which you know is incredibly unlike me 😉

When I started my first little business, I never imagined I’d be here. There have been SO many highs, plenty of lows, a ridiculous amount of stress 😂, late nights, early mornings, big risks, mistakes, lessons and moments where I’ve genuinely thought “what on earth am I doing?”

But I’ve always just kept going. 🔒

I’ve built businesses I’m incredibly proud of, created a team, watched people grow, taken on new challenges and somehow found myself now renovating a whole new space to create the salon I’ve always dreamed of. 🥹

To even be recognised alongside so many incredible entrepreneurs is honestly a huge deal to me, and I feel so lucky 🍀

I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me, trusted me, worked with me, cheered me on, booked with me, recommended me, or simply followed along with the madness 😂🤍

Whatever happens from here, I’m just going to take a minute to be really proud of how far I’ve come, and actually how far my darling team have come 🫶🏼
