“I really wish I got this done sooner”

I’m delighted to be featured in the June issue of Swealthy Magazine, where I share the philosophy behind my Her Skin Seasons® framework.

Women’s skin changes throughout life. From our thirties and post-pregnancy skin changes to perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Yet so much of the aesthetics industry still promotes the same treatments, trends and “anti-ageing” advice to everyone.

I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach. And I don’t believe women need to feel pressured to have every type of treatment, all at once. The best results come from understanding what your skin truly needs, and prioritising treatments thoughtfully, whilst respecting your skin and its tolerance at every stage of life.

As a GP with a diploma in dermatology who is also experienced in aesthetic medicine and women’s health, my goal has always been to help women understand their skin in this context, rather than simply follow trends.

It’s one of the most common things I hear from women going through menopause.

As oestrogen levels decline, it’s completely normal for the lips to lose volume, hydration and definition. The borders soften, lipstick begins to feather into fine lines, and many women tell me they no longer recognise this part of their face.

Undetectable filler is always the goal.

One of the biggest contributors to deepening nasolabial folds is often volume loss through the mid-face.

As women enter the perimenopausal years - sometimes as early as the late 30s and more commonly through the 40s — hormonal changes begin to affect collagen, skin quality and facial fat distribution. I’m so excited to announce my new location 🎉

From March 2026, I will be practicing from Chamberlain Clinic, Edgbaston — right in the heart of Birmingham’s private healthcare hub

Over the last few years my aesthetics practice has grown, and I felt it was the right time to move into a CQC-registered medical environment. This allows me to continue prioritising safety, governance and high clinical standards, which as a doctor is incredibly important to me.

The new location will also mean I can offer more clinic hours and better availability for both existing and new patients.

I’m really excited for this new chapter. We are also working hard behind the scenes on a rebrand and website update, so there are lots of new and exciting things to come over the next few months.
