Pet First Aid Training courses
Pet Emergency First Aid Training courses in Yorkshire
05/03/2023
Our pets bring us such joy, love and loyalty into our lifeβs.
I have always had a love for animals since being a little girl.
So when Harley my beautiful much loved cockapoo became ill with Acute Polyradiculoneuritis 8 weeks ago I was devastated.
Thanks to the wonderful vets and staff at Swift referrals in Thorp Arch near Wetherby and the amazing support of my two daughters, Harley is very slowly making a recovery.
He is still paralysed in his legs and cannot stand but I was warned that for Harley to regain the use of his legs it will probably take 4 to 6 months.
He is not in pain at all.
This whole experience has inspired me to get out there and teach Pet first aid training courses.
I already have had many years experience of teaching human first aid training courses so helping pet owners become more knowledgeable and confident about what to do if their cat or dog is injured or becomes ill is really inspiring. β€οΈ
The course encourages pet owners and dog groomers, dog walkers, etc to give the best Emergency support and help prior taking to their pet to the vets, if that is what is needed.
During the training we will discuss when we need to take our pets to the vets.
On Saturday 1st April 2023 I will be running a Pet First Aid Training course from 1.30 to 4.30 pm in the centre of Harrogate, cost Β£40.
Mobile: 07787 831 275.
There will be the opportunity to practice CPR, how to control bleeding, what to do if your pet is choking and more.
Please get in touch if you like more information.
