Good news everyone, starting Monday 27th October Ollie Martin aka .barbering will be starting at Bluebeards. He has 2 weeks left of his 8 week barbering course at and he is flying!

Appointments will be available on Mondays at a discounted opening offer. Ollie is knaresborough born and bred so give him lots of support, it's much appreciated 🙏

Hi all, this is Marcelo and he has just completed his level 2 barbering qualification at Harrogate college, he is joining the team as of Monday 6th October. To gain as much experience as possible and to improve, all haircuts with Marcelo will be charged at £5 and will be checked by Alex before leaving the shop. Experience is everything in this industry so please give him the opportunity to prove himself. 🙏

Well that was some day! Two crashes, major cramp going up Black hill and a mechanical made things interesting and tough. I was very happy with my time 13hrs 49mins, took an hour off my Bolton IM time. The 2hrs in the medical tent was a first as was being put on a saline drip to rehydrate 😞

I'd like to say thank you to everyone that has made this possible. Firstly my beautiful wife Sarah Tabor for putting up with all the training and the whinging and the expense. My awesome training partners Jason Tabor, Dave Smith , Brian Beilby, Olivia Smith and Jake Smith. All the coaches, especially Ellie, who has shouted at me enough for me to get a 1:04 3.8k swim, and all my team mates at Harrogate Tri Club some.of whom were racing today. Thank you to all the volunteers, without you these events would not be possible, your enthusiasm and encouragement were awesome!

And thank you to my hometown of Leeds for making this an amazing experience, the support on Black Hill was tour de France esq. It's been emotional but I won't be doing another 😵‍💫
