As we say farewell to British Summer time until next spring what better time for us to share some winter skin tips.

The change in the season not only brings dark nights and colder weather it also brings a change to our skin.

Less daylight hours aren’t all bad though, as a time of transition is possibly the best time to rejuvenate and repair your skin. Correcting any damage from summer and preparing your complexion for winter.

At Revive we love the change of seasons, particularly this time of year as ‘Peel Season’ is upon us.

Following tonight’s announcement we are excited to say that it’s official and we will re-opening on Monday 12th April. We will contact everyone from tomorrow Tuesday 6th April who had an appointment cancelled because of this recent lockdown and we will also contact everyone who is on our waiting list.

Our Online Booking service will be live from Wednesday 7th April, along with our phone lines.

Important Notice - Under the guidance of our advisory body NHBF and to comply with our insurance we are required to re-patch test everyone for the following services - Eyelash Tints, Eyebrow Tints and LVL lashes, regardless if you have had the service with us before or if you have previously had a patch test. Unfortunately we cannot carry out any of the above services without a valid patch test. As always your safety and comfort is paramount to us.

Skin Type: The structure of our skin is the same for everyone, but it is our genetics that determine our skin type.
This determines the basic needs of your skincare, consider your skin type the foundation of putting together your regimen.
The most common four skin types are normal, oily, dry or combination.

Skin Conditions: Are influenced by various external and internal factors.
External factors are generally the things you are exposed to daily, like diet, lifestyle choices, weather and skincare routine or use of the wrong products/ingredients.
Internal factors could include things like hormones, stress levels, medication and the natural ageing process.
Some common skin conditions are ageing skin, dehydrated skin, skin pigmentation, acne or sensitive/reactive skin.

With the right skincare products and ingredients we can treat these skin conditions.

Following tonight’s government announcement, we are unfortunately required to suspend all of our treatments until further notice. As always we will keep you updated with any developments and reopening dates via our email updates and our social media pages.

Although we can not carry out any of our hands-on treatments in the salon, we are here for any skin and beauty advice and our online store remains open for all of your skincare and nail care needs.
