Polished Harrogate

The end of May completely changed my world when my mum was tragically taken from me, and honestly, there have been days where just getting through them has felt like an achievement.

But somehow, I’ve kept going.

I’ve continued doing what I love, seeing all of my wonderful regular clients, and in July I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming so many new faces too.

Alongside that, I also started an exciting new chapter as Clinic Manager at KGAesthetics, whilst continuing to run my own business. It’s been busy, emotional and challenging all at once, but I’m doing it.

I know my mum would be mega proud of everything I’ve achieved and for the first time in a while, I can honestly say… I’m pretty proud of myself too ☺️

Life can change in an instant, so if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to keep going, even when it feels impossible.

1. I absolutely love a good to-do list….and the satisfaction of ticking things off.
2. I genuinely can’t function in a morning until I’ve had coffee.

What a busy but lovely week it’s been! 💕

I’ve been keeping busy in the clinic doing nails and managing the clinic for Katie while she’s been sunning herself in Spain!

Outside of work, I’ve loved spending quality time with my girls. We enjoyed a shopping trip to Meadowhall and celebrated a very special 14th birthday with an action-packed day at Allerthorpe Lake Aqua Park (totally gutted I didn’t give it a go!!)

To top the week off, today was all about relaxing with family, enjoying a BBQ in the sunshine.

A great balance of work and family time! Hope you’ve all had a lovely week too!!

As most of you will be aware, I recently got married, and we’ve finally received our professional photos. I honestly can’t stop looking through them. They bring back so many incredible memories!

It was a day full of so much love, laughter and tears, both happy and sad as there was one incredibly special lady missing… my beautiful mum. As difficult as it was not having her there, our day was still everything we could have hoped for. Looking through these photos has reminded me that even in the hardest moments, there can still be so much love and happiness.

Now… prepare yourselves because there may be a few wedding photos making their way onto my page over the next little while! Sorry not sorry!!!
