It’s been such a busy but lovely week! Lots of busy days in clinic creating fresh nails, and a fun content day with Katie and the girls K Govind | Medical Aesthetics | Harrogate. I managed to squeeze in a spontaneous lunchtime dog walk with Rosie, Katie’s gorgeous fur baby 🐾

There’s been plenty of fun outside of work too - takeaway with friends, dog walks and a lovely family meal at Brio.

A good mix of work, family, friends, good food and puppy cuddles — just how I like my weeks!

Our Budapest Honeymoon 🇭🇺

We’ve had the most incredible time celebrating our honeymoon in beautiful Budapest!

We’ve loved exploring the city’s amazing sights, from the breathtaking St. Stephen’s Basilica and the stunning Hungarian Parliament, to wandering around Buda Castle and taking in the views from Fisherman’s Bastion.

We also enjoyed some much-needed relaxation at Rudas Thermal Spa and hopped on the open-top bus to see even more of the beautiful sights Budapest had to offer.

One of our favourite evenings was spent cruising down the Danube, taking in the incredible views while enjoying live music — an incredible way to end the day.

So many unforgettable memories made.

Now I’m back home and ready to get back to the nail desk!

✨ Weekly Update ✨

What a week it’s been! 🥰

There has been plenty going on behind the scenes — brunch at Farmhouse (my fave breakie place), very busy clinics, and lots of family celebrations too! This morning I’ve been busy celebrating my nephew and father-in-law’s birthdays, which has meant lots of lovely family time (and a little too much cake!).

And now… we’re off! ✈️🇭🇺

We’re jetting off to Budapest for our second little honeymoon and I honestly cannot wait. A few days of switching off, exploring, eating, drinking and enjoying some quality time together before getting back to reality.

I’ll be taking a little break from the nail desk, but I’ll be back before you know it with fresh nails, and hopefully a little more of a tan!

A little price update ✨

I just wanted to let you know that from 1st September 2026, there will be a small price increase across all appointments.

Please note that this will include appointments that are already booked.

This change reflects the increasing costs of products and business overheads, and allows me to continue providing you with the same quality products, service and care you know and love.

Weekly Recap ✨

It’s been a busy week both in and out of the clinic!

Inside the clinic, it’s been all about summery nails — bright, fun and perfect for the sunshine. I’ve also had the very important job of creating holiday nails for my girls, who are heading off for more sunshine this week!

Away from the clinic, it’s been a more emotional week as I laid my mum to rest at the cemetery. It’s been lovely to have my brother and his family visiting for the week, making the most of having everyone together and creating memories.

We’ve enjoyed trips to Valley Gardens, a BBQ and a lovely meal at The Fat Badger. We finished off the week with a beautiful walk in the sunshine from Valley Gardens to Bamber & Brown with friends.

A week filled with a mixture of emotions, family time, sunshine, memories and, of course, plenty of pretty nails.

What a mega busy week it’s been in the clinic before I head off on holiday! Thank you for keeping me so busy.

I’ve absolutely loved seeing all the gorgeous summery nail colours.

Away from the clinic, it’s been all about drinks out with friends, brunch with family, and lots of holiday packing… sorry, have I already mentioned I’m heading on holiday? 😜

Almost time for a little recharge before I’m back creating more beautiful nails.

The end of May completely changed my world when my mum was tragically taken from me, and honestly, there have been days where just getting through them has felt like an achievement.

But somehow, I’ve kept going.

I’ve continued doing what I love, seeing all of my wonderful regular clients, and in July I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming so many new faces too.

Alongside that, I also started an exciting new chapter as Clinic Manager at KGAesthetics, whilst continuing to run my own business. It’s been busy, emotional and challenging all at once, but I’m doing it.

I know my mum would be mega proud of everything I’ve achieved and for the first time in a while, I can honestly say… I’m pretty proud of myself too ☺️

Life can change in an instant, so if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to keep going, even when it feels impossible.
