One of my favourite parts of the ritual is the Queen of the Nile botanical foot soak, where your feet are immersed in warm water alongside beautiful botanicals, dead sea salt, colloidal oats, honey and goat milk powder.

And underneath your feet are gentle acupressure points, designed to stimulate different areas across the soles as you relax.

Acupressure is based on the idea that applying gentle pressure to specific points on the body can encourage relaxation and a sense of balance. The soles of the feet contain many pressure points, so the textured base of the foot spa adds another layer of sensory stimulation to the ritual.

While your feet soak, the gentle pressure beneath them, the warmth of the water and the botanical, creamy scent all work together to create a deeply immersive beginning to your treatment.

Because a holistic facial isn't just about what happens to your skin.

It's about creating an experience that gives you permission to relax your nervous system, settle in and be looked after. 🌙

Another two beautiful holistic facials completed this evening for ladies who needed an hour for themselves 🌿 what a joy it is to bring a moment of peace and relaxation to busy lives.

It's time for me to take a short break to celebrate my hen next week ❤️ but my books are open for the week commencing 5/10 🙏

Friday will be my last day of treatments for the month of September, before I take a week break to enjoy my hen do celebrations! 💃 🔮

🌿 Ingredient Spotlight: SLSA 🌿

One of the ingredients I use when preparing my Cleansing White Kaolin Clay Mask is SLSA (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate).

Your mask is mixed fresh on the day of your holistic facial with kaolin clay, colloidal oatmeal and aloe vera juice, creating a beautiful, freshly prepared introduction to your treatment 🤍

So, what does SLSA actually do?

SLSA is a naturally derived cleansing surfactant, made from plant-derived fatty acids. I use it to give the clay mask a soft, creamy lather while helping to lift away dirt, excess oils and impurities from the skin.

And despite the similar name, SLSA isn't the same ingredient as SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). They have different chemical structures, and SLSA is generally considered a gentler cleansing option for the skin.

• Helps gently cleanse the skin
• Creates a soft, creamy lather
• Helps lift away impurities and excess oils
• Works beautifully alongside white kaolin clay
• Gives the mask a lovely cleansing texture without making it feel harsh
